My current project focuses on criminal competence. Stemming from my previous research where I noted that synthetic drug producer do not share the same level of skills and knowledge, this project's goal is to learn about the dynamics of criminal competence, specially competence needed to execute complex crimes. Complex crimes are crimes that necessitate multiples steps, specific equipment, skills and knowledge and connections to be successful, an example of a complex crime is synthetic drug production. The main  goal of this current project is thus to learn about the factors that influences the development of criminal competence.
